Helping Vulnerable Children In Urban Delhi

Phia Foundation on 27th January 2016 distributed school shoes to the school going poor and homeless children living in the shelters of PaharGanj area which are managed by Aashray Adhikar Abhiyan (AAA) in Delhi.

The children of these shelters are orphans, abandoned children, children of poor single parents who have no source of earning, children of poor rickshaw pullers, casual labourers and children from families who have been forced into begging. Aashray Adhikaar Abhiyaan supports the boarding, lodging in the shelters and education of these children in the government schools.
