He completed his postgraduate studies in Agri-Business Management from the prestigious National Institute of Agriculture Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad. Tundup possesses a strong academic foundation in addition to his practical experience. His education has equipped him with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage projects and initiatives aimed at agricultural development and rural empowerment.
Throughout his career spanning over six years, Tundup has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a deep commitment to making a positive impact in the communities he serves. Whether it’s implementing sustainable agriculture practices, promoting livelihood opportunities, or fostering social inclusion, Tundup’s work has always been guided by a desire to create meaningful change.
As the Project Lead at PHIA Foundation’s office in Leh, Ladakh, Tundup plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing and monitoring projects that address the unique challenges faced by the local communities. His understanding of the socio-economic dynamics of Ladakh, combined with his passion for development work, makes him a valuable asset to the organization.
Outside of work, Tundup is an avid reader who enjoys delving into a wide range of topics, from history and philosophy to literature and economics. He believes in the power of knowledge to transform lives and is constantly seeking to expand his understanding of the world. Tundup also has a love for traveling, which allows him to explore new cultures, meet diverse people, and gain fresh perspectives.
