Archana is a trained social development professional with a Master’s degree from Xavier’s Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, Jharkhand. She has an experience of over 15+ years in non- profit sector, managing program operations across diverse thematic areas at PAN India Level.
Coming from a tribal household, she has an intrinsic understanding of the tribal issues and has a strong drive to work for the upliftment of the tribal societies who are often deprived of many benefits. She strongly believes in women empowerment and believes in bringing gender perspective in different program designs. Archana started her journey with PHIA, through a humanitarian response project way back in October 2021. Currently, as an Associate State Lead, Jharkhand, she is managing multiple programs focused on food and nutrition, migration, education, gender and a few other thematic areas. She is playing a critical role in partnership development, expansion and deepening of PHIA’s work . She is also leading the IC committee (Under POSH Act) in Jharkhand. In her leisure time, she loves spending time with family, friends. She is very fond of painting and doodling. She is a nature lover and loves gardening.
