Sunpreet Singh

Sunpreet Singh is a Communication Officer at PHIA presenting the organisation’s social outreach with an impactful visual representation. With a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, he started off his journey in the development sector as a Volunteer photographer for the Indian Red Cross Society. He worked as a Visual Producer in a communication agency dedicated to the development sector where he got the opportunity to travel across India being a part in creating social impact films for organizations including CAF, UNICEF, URMUL, SELCO, and PHIA which allowed him to witness and document on-ground initiatives.

In addition to growing up in Delhi, he has lived in a remote village in Thar Desert where he experienced living in a rural setting in harmony with nature, gaining firsthand insights into the culture and traditional knowledge of the Western Rajasthan in natural resource management. Working directly with grassroots organizations further enriched his perspective on social development and strengthened his resolve to create meaningful change through visual design.

Sunpreet finds himself closer to nature, exploring and learning about Birds, Animals and Sky. He is particularly interested in predatory animals and their social image in society. He is always open to talk about Birds, Bikes and Films.
