Richa has a career span of over 22 years in the development sector. She is a postgraduate of the Delhi School of Economics and holds a Diploma degree in Environmental Law from the National Law School, Bangalore. She has worked with reputed organizations including Government on issues of Solid Waste Management, WASH, Gender & Development, and Local Governance, Policy and Partnership.
She was part of the policy development team in the Department of Panchayat Raj, Government of Jharkhand, and provided technical support in designing the policies and capacity-building strategies. She is a certified Direct Skill Trainer (DST) from the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, and a resource person for the National Institute of Rural Development & PRI, Hyderabad on local governance and localizing SDGs as well. Richa has joined the PHIA Team in Jharkhand as Programme Technical Advisor: Policy and Partnership in the Living Landscape Program.
Beyond her professional expertise, Richa is a passionate Odissi classical dancer, showcasing her artistry at renowned festivals. With a deep commitment to social equity, sustainability, and community-driven development, Richa continues to make a lasting impact across sectors, championing inclusive growth and empowerment at all levels.
