Ashish leads PHIA’s Climate Change initiative in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is a specialist in soil and water conservation engineering. He has a Master of Technology qualification from Allahabad Agriculture University.
Ashish is passionate about combining the native wisdom of the communities and technological knowledge for finding sustainable solutions for natural resource management augmenting agriculture productivity and well-being of the communities. With close to a decade of work experience, he has worked on programmes of the Government and civil society organisations in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. Ashish has been with PHIA for more than three years building a strong portfolio of our work with communities on climate resilience and locally led adaptation and is presently based in Bhopal. Ashish indulges in music and is an avid explorer of new places and destinations.
