I thought I am masculine because I am a man.
My thoughts are mine but what others think defines me.
Masculinity is what society wants me to be –
When I am forced to play cricket
When I am laughed at because I love to stitch.
When I am not allowed to be shy
When I am not allowed to cry.
When I do not have claim over my physical appearance.
And when my mom tells me “Be a man”…..
