About us

Phia Foundation is a developmental and humanitarian organisation working for the eradication of poverty, exclusion and discrimination. Phia works with the poor, socially excluded and vulnerable communities, with a focus on equity and inclusion. It does this by enabling poor and excluded communities to access their rights and entitlements; provision of basic services in healthcare, education, and water and sanitation; promoting resilient livelihoods and providing humanitarian relief and rehabilitation during emergencies. Promoting gender equality crosscuts all of our work.

We were established as a Public Trust registered in Delhi. We work in partnership with grassroots organisations, the private sector and government to promote sustainable development and growth.

About the Project

Phia Foundation has launched a Community Facilitation center in Sindri, which aims to reach out tothe community and generate awareness and enable access to entitlements through provisions of ICDS, JSY, UWSS Act 2008, and other govt. programmes to ensure social as well health security of the community. Phia Foundation associates closely with local CSO, CBO and beneficiary communities for effective implementation of its projects. We believe in sustainable development of the communities it works for which its focus is in building the capacity of beneficiary community members though continuous engagement and outreach programs. To bring about positive change, Phia Foundation will be scaling up its project outreach and these positions will play a key role in enabling this process.

Position -1

Position: District Coordinator
Location: Dhanbad (Sindri) / Ranchi
Remuneration: INR.240,000 per annum
Reporting to: Honorary Director – (Phia)
Period: 2 years 9 months

Closing Date:1 July 2017

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • Develop good understanding, and analytical skills on the information related to health programmes, Labour laws, social security benefits under different programmes run by the govt.
  • Effectively manage the Community Facilitation Centre.
  • Overall project management at district level
  • Co-ordination with PHIA state office, Donor agency & Govt. for project implementation.
  • Continuous monitoring of programme implementation to achieve project goals through regular project visits.
  • Project planning & implementation; Review of progress against plans and identify gaps to discuss for necessary actions with reporting officer.
  • Compiling weekly & monthly reports & overall documentation
  • Any other task as per the need of the project

About the Post holder

The position demands the District Coordinator to have an implementation and technical knowledge on health rights and related programs & policies of state as well as central Govt, rights of workers in unorganized sector, with a minimum of 0-1 years of relevant working experience. The key responsibility of the position is to coordinate & manage the overall execution of the project. Minimum requirement:-

  1. Graduate
  2. Computing skills: Word, excel, PPT, internet, etc.
  3. Good communication as well as documentation skills

Position - 2

Position: CFC Coordinator
Location: Dhanbad (Sindri)
Remuneration: INR.120,000per annum
Reporting to: District Coordinator
Period: 2 years 9 months

Closing Date:1 July 2017

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • The consultant will be responsible for implementation of project at the block level and overall management of the community facilitation centre.
  • Responsible for organizing village level meetings & community mobilization tasks.
  • Responsible for managing orientation trainings, workshops and campaigns in coordination with district manager.
  • Preparing a database of the beneficiaries, data compilation, record keeping of daily progress and maintaining proper filling systems and day to day sharing the progress with District manager.
  • Any further tasks as assigned by the line manager responsible

About the Post holder

The position Coordinator - Community Facilitation Centre, to have a minimum of 0-1 year of relevant working experience. The key responsibility of the position is to manage the overall implementation of the project at block level.

Minimum requirement: - Inter/ Graduate

Position -3

Position: Field Facilitator
Location: Dhanbad (Sindri)
Remuneration: INR.60,000 per annum
Reporting to: District Coordinator
Period: 2 years 9 months

Closing Date:1 July 2017

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • The consultant will be responsible for community mobilization and village level meetings
  • Meeting and one to one interaction with PRI members and other panchayat level service providers
  • Networking & Liaison with panchayat & block level service providers.
  • Preparing a database of the beneficiaries, data compilation, record-keeping of daily progress and maintaining proper filing systems.
  • Daily basis sharing the progress with district coordinator.
  • Any further tasks as assigned by the manager responsible.

About the Post holder

Matric/Intermediate with a minimum of 0-1 year of relevant working experience. This position demands the field facilitator, to work for 33 hours per week. The key responsibility of the position is to manage the overall implementation of the project at panchayat/village level. Minimum requirement:-

  1. Matric/ Intermediate
  2. Good understanding of the community in the intervention area

Position -4

Position: Accounts & Admin officer
Location: Dhanbad (Sindri)
Remuneration: INR.72,000 per annum
Reporting to: District Coordinator
Period: 2 years 9 months

Closing Date:1 July 2017

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • The consultant will be responsible for overall financial management of the project
  • Monthly joint planning & review of the project with both program & finance team members.
  • Ensure Fund requisition for the quarter and other finance related compliances at the beginning & end of the quarter/ year.
  • Preparing Utilization certificates and maintaining proper filing systems.
  • Reporting to State & national office regarding the financial reporting & progress Vis-a Vis the program achievements.
  • Monthly basis sharing the financial progress with the team.
  • Any further tasks as assigned by the manager responsible.

About the Post holder

Graduate with a minimum of 1-3 year of relevant working experience. This is a part-time position and demands the consultant, to work for 17 hours per week. The key responsibility of the position is overall financial management of the project. Minimum requirement:-

  1. Graduate preferably in commerce
  2. Computing skills: Word, excel, PPT, internet, tally, etc.

Position -5

Position: Data Entry Operator
Location: Dhanbad (Sindri)
Remuneration: INR.84,000 per annum
Reporting to: District Coordinator
Period :2 years 9 months

Closing Date:1 July 2017

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  • The consultant will be responsible for compilation of data collected of beneficiaries from field area
  • Responsible for Online registration of workers and mapping beneficiaries of various schemes
  • Preparing a database of the beneficiaries, data compilation, record-keeping of daily progress and maintaining proper filling systems.
  • Any further tasks as assigned by the manager responsible

About the Post holder

This position demands the Data Entry operator, to work for 33 hours per week. The key responsibility of the position is to support the team in data entry work related to registration of workers, other data compilation works as required in the project. Minimum requirement:-

  1. Intermediate
  2. Computing skills: Word, excel, PPT, internet, etc.
